How to make panir pakoda?
Ghee or dalda is added to baking soda and mixed well. Grate paneer into small pieces and add bengal gram flour, rice flour, salt, chlli powder, chopped onion, ginger, green chillies, curry and coriander leaves and this mixture is added to the ghee-baking soda compound.
Little water is added to the above mixture and dough is prepared, which should not be very soft but somewhat powdery. Oil is poured into the frying pan and heated. Then a big lump of dough (orange sized) is dropped in small bits into oil and fried until reddish brown. The pieces may be of irregular size and shapes. The paneer pakoda is now ready. It is used as snacks along with hot or cold drinks.
